Feng Shanshan eighth, Lin Xiyu T9丨Olympics end!
On August 7 , the final round of the Tokyo Olympic Games women’s golf event ended at the Kasumigaseki Country Club. First in the world, the US players Nellie · Kodak to 1 shots to win the championship, the US team swept the men’s and women golf two gold medals. Japanese player Inami Moenin defeated New Zealand star Gao Baojing in the playoffs and won a silver medal for the hosts.
Chinese Golden Flower Feng Shanshan performed well in the final round, surrendering 67 ( -4 ), with a total score of 273 ( -11 ), ranking eighth alone. Lin Xiyu also played steadily, surrendering 68 strokes ( -3 ), and tied for ninth with a total score of 274 strokes ( -10 ), creating the best result of a personal participation in the Olympics!
At the Tokyo Olympics, two Chinese women’s teams participated in full participation, and both ranked in the top ten. They demonstrated the competitive strength of Chinese golf on the stage where the world’s top golfers competed fiercely! The team members’ courage, tenacious will to fight and the spirit of never giving up have left the most moving moments of Chinese golf in the Tokyo Olympic journey.
